MATH 102 - College Algebra

Equations and inequalities; polynomial functions and graphs, exponents, radicals, binomial theorem, zeros of polynomials; systems of equations; exponential, logarithmic, and inverse functions, applications and graphs. Other topics selected from sequences, series, and complex numbers. (Starting Summer 2019 course will be changed to MATH 114.) Prerequisite: MATH 095 ; or MATH 101 with a grade of C or better; or appropriate placement based on standardized testing. 3 credits
