MUS 480 - Secondary Choral Methods A comprehensive study of teaching methods for the 5-12 choral classroom. In addition to a study of rehearsal techniques, students will explore the psychological and philosophical aspects of teaching this age group; choral tone, diction, vowels, and tuning; and the intricacies of organizing and running a choral music program. Additionally, a student is assigned to thirty hours of Pre-Student Teaching Experience (PTSE) in a secondary music classroom (5-12). Admission to Teacher Education required. Prerequisite: EPSY 302 Admission to Teacher Education required 3 credits
