ART 716 - Contemporary Trends in Art Education This course examines the relationships between theory and practice in art education by analyzing topics currently concerning art teaching in schools, museums, and higher education, focusing on the connections across art, society, and culture. It introduces competing philosophical views of reality, perception, learning, and values, emphasizing art education curriculum practices relevant to the contemporary world and instruction.
