STEM Pedagogy Certificate (Graduate)

Location(s): Northern State University Campus, Online

The NSU STEM Certificate offers K-12 teachers in all subject areas professional development focused on STEM Integration (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math), curriculum design, and project-based learning. Six of the 12 credits in this certificate will apply to any of NSU’s MSEd degrees, and all 12 credits would be applied to the MSEd in Educational Studies.

Secondary Teachers (6 credits)

SEED 760 - Math and Engineering Applications in the STEM Classroom 2 credits
SEED 765 - Science Applications in the STEM Classroom 2 credits
SEED 792 - Topics 1-3 credits (Reading and Writing in the STEM Classroom and/or Art and Music Applications in the STEM Classroom - 2 credits each)
