ARTD 241 - Animations & Visual Effects I

An introductory course in time-based and interactive 2D, 2.5D and 3D graphics with an emphasis on moving imagery using typography, digital video and audio, photographs, and computer-generated raster and vector images. Students will learn basic key-frame animation, automated expressions, layer-based digital compositing, and visual effects using a variety of industry-standard methods and technologies. Prerequisite: ARTD 113 3 credits
