GEOG 372 - Introduction to GIS

This course introduces many of the basic concepts of Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and provides an overview of the functions and capabilities of ArcGIS Desktop GIS software and an introduction to the ArcGIS Spatial Analyst Extension. It will be taught primarily as a hands-on course with supplemental lectures, demos, and discussion. Co-requisite: GEOG 372L 2 credits
