ARTD 337 - Podcasting and Sound Design I

A course in digital audio techniques and technology with an emphasis on writing, performing, and creating audio content for radio, filmmaking, and Internet streaming, both in-studio and in the field. Students will learn microphone types and placements, audio board operations, portable recorders, training in voice performance for radio, television, film, and animations, foley vs. digital sound effects, and professional digital-audio workstation software. Prerequisite: ARTD 113 3 credits
