SPED 570 - Individual Education Programs and Assistive Technology

This course includes information about the development of Individual Education Programs (IEPs) for students with disabilities. It includes information on writing plans that provide a Free and Appropriate Education (FAPE) in the Least Restrictive Environment (LRE) in compliance with federal laws and state regulations. The course covers additional topics including, but not limited to, the considerations of special factors such as the need for Assistive Technology. Admission to Teacher Education required 2 credits
