NURS 238 - Clinical Practicum: Foundations The application of foundational nursing content and the development of beginning-level critical thinking skills in the care of geriatric clients. Demonstrates safe, efficient practice in the clinical setting. Emphasis is placed on components of geriatric care, therapeutic communication, cultural and spiritual care, and ethical standards. Students will develop entry-level organizational and time management skills in the clinical setting and perform psychomotor skills with clients. Co-requisite: NURS 239 ; NURS 239L ; NURS 269 ; NURS 269L Admission to the BSN Program. 2 credits
