MICR 433 - Medical Microbiology Principles of medical microbiology including a survey of the most clinically significant bacterial, fungal, parasitic, and viral diseases in the world, with an emphasis on those most prevalent in North America. Case studies will address: morphology, physiology, and virulence of the microbes and the epidemiology, treatment, and prevention of the diseases they cause. Prerequisite: BIOL 331 , CHEM 112 , CHEM 114 Co-requisite: MICR 433L 3 credits
