Secondary Education Teacher Certification

This academic program provides an option for individuals who want to become secondary teachers and have earned a baccalaureate degrees in the following areas: English, Biology, Chemistry, Social Studies, History, or Spanish. Admission to the Teacher Education program is required. Candidates must also take and pass the appropriate content Praxis exam as well as the Praxis PLT: Grades 7-12 to be recommended to the state for certification.
