Middle Level (5th-8th) Grade Endorsements for Content Areas

Students who have completed a teacher preparation program that includes initial licensure can add an endorsement in 5th-8th Grade English Language Arts, Math, Science, or Social Science by taking a PRAXIS exam. Depending on your major program preparation, you may need an additional pedagogy PRAXIS exam. Please visit the SD Department of Education website for guidance on which PRAXIS exam to take what score is needed.
