Accounting Analytics (MS)

Admission Requirements:

  1. Completed Graduate Studies Application
  2. $35.00 (non-refundable) application fee
  3. Two letters of Recommendation
  4. Official undergraduate transcript showing your degree awarded
  • 2.75 GPA from an accredited institution
  1. Transcript review for prerequisites and confirmation of an undergraduate degree when combined with the master’s in Accounting Analytics will meet the course and credit requirements for the CPA exam in the state where you reside on the first day of class.

Students who graduate with an undergraduate Accounting (BS)  degree from NSU, and who have taken ACCT 531 , ACCT 540 , ACCT 551 , and ACCT 580  can complete the Accounting Analytics (MS) degree in one year (Fall, Spring, Summer semesters.)

CPA Exam Advisory Note:

Students expecting to take the CPA exam must complete a minimum of 150 credit hours of course work. Please contact your advisor to ensure sufficient credits have been completed to meet the requirements to take the CPA exam.  Students should consult the State Board of Accountancy in the state they wish to take the CPA exam for any other requirements.

Pre-Core/Foundation Courses


Required for students who do not have a BS in Accounting or who have not taken these courses at the undergraduate level.

Elective Courses (6 credits):
