A one-semester survey of chemistry. Not intended for those needing an extensive chemistry background. Introduction to the properties of matter, atomic structure, bonding, stoichiometry, kinetics, equilibrium, states of matter, solutions, and acid-base concepts. Prerequisite: MATH 095 or MATH 101 or MATH 103 or MATH 104 or MATH 114 or MATH 115 or MATH 120 or MATH 121 or MATH 123 or MATH 125 or MATH 281 Co-requisite: CHEM 106L 3 credits
