BFS 710 - Banking and Financial Markets This course provides an overview of the domestic and international financial system and the role money plays in this system. The course will cover the determination and behavior of interest rates; the structure, performance, and conduct of the financial institutions; management of financial institutions; the operation of central banking as it is concerned with the money supply process and the tools, formulation, and conduct of monetary policy in a global context. 3 credits
