Students who have completed a teacher preparation program that includes initial licensure can add this endorsement by taking a PRAXIS exam or completing coursework. Depending on your program major preparation, you may need an additional pedagogy PRAXIS exam. Coursework requirements are: 18 semester hours of coursework in the specific language and a world language methodology course. Please visit the SD Department of Education website for guidance on which PRAXIS exam(s) to take and the minimum cur score(s) required.
